Quick answer: Factories unlock at Prestige 4. The public Prestige 4 card lists a requirement of 25UTg Oofs and also unlocks Easy Expedition, the Tycoon Upgrade Tree, and Noobs Enchants. The Factory system uses Cash to increase the number of Tier 1 Factories gained per second. The public card does not publish a complete Cash price curve, production formula, offline-gain rule, or universal time-to-max table, so those values should be measured in the current server.

Factory max level is not one universal number. Each boost line reaches its published maximum at a different Factory count. For example, Tier 4 Prism reaches its listed maximum at four while Tier 4 Cash needs 3,999, so a tier can finish one benefit long before another.

Use a bottleneck-first route. Keep the lower tier when its next published breakpoint directly improves the currency or Rune stat blocking progress; merge upward when the next tier's guaranteed benefit saves more time than the lower-tier boost you give up.
